Glossary
Software that controls basic low-level operations for the internal hardware components of the radio.
The radio's firmware is updated:
For CPS with a "Radio Software Refresh" and during a "FLASHport Upgrade" process.
For Managed Radios see the Radio Management's "Manage Firmware" feature; template "Upgrade Firmware" and template "FLASHport Upgrade" are then initiated from the Right-Click Menu's "Upgrade" selections.
